Description
Elterdale® Grey Green slate is quarried using very simple extraction techniques, from the finest slate beds in the Paraopeba Valley near Papagaios. Elterdale Grey Green slate is a natural sedimentary stone with excellent consistency which required the minimum of grading. The natural slates are hand split by experienced craftsmen to produce consistent slates in thickness and texture.
The Grey Green colour of the slate is a very good alternative to the much higher specification Vermont Structural Unfading Green and Westmorland Green slates
